aNYthing 2012 Spring/Summer Lookbook feat Venus X

ITA:  aNYthing ha scelto questa volta Venus X per presentare il proprio lookbook Primavera/Estate 2012.

ENG: Continuing to reestablish its presence as one of the mainstay street labels, aNYthing recently invited Harlem-bred Venus X to present its latest Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook. The collection, which expectedly lends itself to bold New York graphical reinterpretations sees the inclusion of a more mature range of button-ups, cut-and-sew knitwear, and premium outerwear. While the label affirms its obvious progression, much of its foundational DNA remains in the form of snapbacks, T-shirts, and graphic-driven crewnecks. If Venus X’s “IDGAF I DONT GIVE A FUCK” trademark slogan is any indication of what to expect from aNYthing moving into 2012, the forthcoming year will prove impressive.

ENG: Canadian label Ransom rolls out a new lookbook highlighting its latest Resort collection this year. Aiming to produce a casual selection with other staples to provide a great degree of functionality and style, the assortment boasts a good selection of hooded pullovers, khaki pants and button-ups. Several pieces are characterized by camo prints and check patterns. In addition, a small range of knitted garments are crafted in Canada complete the range.

The Hundreds 2012 Spring Collection Lookbook

ENG: Embracing the impending Mayan-declared doomsday year, The Hundreds unveil its latest Spring 2012 collection lookbook. Spanning a wide range of pieces, the collection is comprised of Boy Scout-inspired outerwear and buttons ups, military-driven accessories, and utilitarian workwear. Earth tones and muted color palettes make up the majority of the collection’s color choices, each made from a variety of chambrays, canvases, and printed nylon cordura textiles.

GOLF WANG Lookbook

ITA: Intanto che la creatività e le forti idee hanno catapultato nel mondo musicale il collettivo Odd Future, Tyler The Creator e gli altri membri hanno sempre espresso interesse anche per altre forme di arte, tanto da aprire poco tempo fa il loro Golf Wan Pop-Up Store sulla Fairfax Avenue a Los Angeles. Ora il gruppo ha presentato la loro prima collezione completa con questo lookbook, intitolato “Holiday 1991”.

ENG: While Odd Future’s creativity and strong ideas in the music world catapulted the talented collective to fame in 2011, Tyler, the Creator and other members have long expressed interest in other forms of design. On this note, Odd Future recently christened their Golf Wang Pop-Up store on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles, which is open through early January. Now, the group has released a full collection lookbook for their brand GOLF WANG, titled “Holiday 1991,” which features an array of graphic items, accessories, skateboard decks. Most of the collection was designed by Tyler himself, the highlights of which include a set of all over print shirts, ‘OFWGKTA’ skateboard decks, and an embroidered ‘Golf Wang’ Hat. For the time being, most of the items in the lookbook are only available at the Fairfax brick-and-mortar shop, however Tyler hinted on his twitter he may be open to the idea of placing some items on Odd Future’s online shop in the future.
